Aggregated Data Update
Summer is here, and this update is just as hot. Aggregated Open Interest, Delta Volume, CVD and liquidations layers, plus an fully customizable aggregated Liquidation & Trade Feed with added sound configuration, all wrapped up with improvements to the UI.
π Aggregated Data
Analyzing data on an individual market basis can reveal nuances associated with with particular exchanges. For example, retail flow is far less prevalent on Deribit when compared with others such as Bybit. Equally, peak volume periods on exchanges like OKX will differ from other venues such as Coinbase, due to the geographical markets they each target. Given these differences, the ability to aggregate across all can provide valuable insight into the broader market as a whole.
Prior to today's update, Market Monkey Terminal's heatmap was the sole layer that could be aggregated across each of the supported spot and perpetual markets. Assessing aggregated liquidity across exchanges of your choice, has been extremely well received. Today's update follows on from this, offering the ability to aggregate data on a further 3 additional layers.
Aggregated Layers
Each of these respective layers now have the ability to aggregate data from exchanges of your choice.
Open Interest
CVD - Cumulative Volume Delta
Delta Volume
To activate the aggregation, open the respective layer's settings. You will be presented with the Aggregate toggles. Simply select the exchanges you wish to include within the aggregation, and the layer will be re-rendered.
π Exchange Isolation Flexibility
One powerful additional benefit of MMT's aggregation mechanic is the ability to de-couple and isolate data from the main price chart. As each exchange's data can be toggled independently from one another, you can render multiple independent instances to compare between venues.

SIngle Exchange Open Interest vs Multi Exchange Open Interest
Above is an example compating Open Interest between exchanges. This isolation flexibility offers a great method to analyze each exchange's data separately from one another. Each of today's aggregated layers can be utilized this way.
πAggregated Trade Feed
The dedicated Trade Feed widget has been given aggregated love this update. The same buffet-style aggregation mechanic has been applied to the Trade Feed widget allowing to view the tape from a market-wide perspective. Simply add the Trade Feed widget to your terminal and click the cog icon to select the exchanges you wish to display.
As you toggle your chosen aggregated exchanges, new subscriptions to the respective exchanges will be initiated and incorporated within the Trade Feed. For each trade, the venue in which the trade took places will be shown via the exchange's logo . Similarly to the original single market Trade Feed, each row will be color graded to indicate the quantity/size of the trade.
Configurable Trade Sounds
The trade feed has also been audibly enhanced in this update. Each trade that is executed will be accompanied by a configurable sound. The audible volume and intensity is automatically adjusted to proportionally reflect the size of the trade that was recorded.
Aggregated Trade Feed Sounds
There are numerous audio sound options to select between. Additional configuration controls are available including separate volume, note and duration to differentiate between both market buy and market sell orders.
Column Management
UI improvements to the Trade Feed have also been included to allow greater flexibility and utilization of your terminal space.
Show/Hide Columns
Right-clicking on each of the columns shown within the trade feed will allow you the ability to toggle their visibility on or off.
This ensure only the columns that matter to your workflow are displayed, freeing up valuable space on your terminal. This is particularly useful when filtering the tape via a particular quantity/size.
Column Re-Arrangement Those wishing to re-arrange the visible columns can do so naturally, by dragging the respective column to the desired location. You can always return to the default column configuration and placement by adding a new Trader Feed widget to your terminal layout.
π Aggregated Liquidations Feed
Another addition within today's update is the new 'Liquidations' widget. Similar in nature to the Trade Feed, this will provide a real-time aggregated feed of forced liquidations as they reported by each exchange.
The majority of the configuration options available within the trade feed can also be found within the Liquidations widget. This includes the options to aggregate across exchanges, create distinct sound profiles, color theming and column management. This widget is a good accompanyment with the dedicated Liquidations layer.
π UI Improvements
Exchange Icons
As you may have noticed above in the new aggregated trade feed, exchange logos have been added in various places within the UI.
This improvement will visually aid you in quickly selecting the correct exchange's data you wish to view.
For quick reference, colored logos are used to indicate spot markets, whilst white versions of the exchange's logos are used for futures/perpetual markets.
Ping / Server Connection Status
The main Market Monkey Terminal server is located Europe. To measure the latency between your location and MMT HQ a handy 'Ping' measure is now located in the lower-right of your screen.
The round-trip-time will be displayed in milliseconds. This will be periodically measured and updated. In the near future we plan to spin up a second server location in Asia to overcome some intermittent latency issues that have been reported by a handful of users in this region.
Debug Log
For those rare times when some thing (or some bug) is causing an error within the terminal, pressing F2 on your keyboard will now display a dedicated Debug Log window.

The contents of this is more aimed to help the interns over at MMT HQ identify the cause of such issues. They may ask you to grab this for them when reporting a bug.
π Layout Sharing Hub
Following the the roll out of sharable layouts last month, a dedicated Layout Sharing Hub has been created on the Market Monkey Terminal Discord.
