Layout Management Update

🚀 New Layout Management

Within MMT, you have always had the ability to add a variety of Chart, DOM, Order Book, Stats widgets to your terminal. You have the freedom to position, dock and tab all widgets to suit your own preferences as part of your trading workflow.

This is all well and good, however what if you want to change the type or style of analysis that you are performing? Particularly in volatile, fast moving markets?

We are happy to announce that support for multiple layouts is now live on MMT. Today's major update offers the capability to quickly and efficiently switch between your very own catalog of saved layouts. Simply click the dedicated 'Layout' button where you will be presented a range of Layout management options.

This update ensures that each of your layouts are just a couple clicks away. Each of your dedicated layouts can be updated, set as default, renamed, and deleted. This major upgrade ensures that however you are using the Market Monkey Terminal, your trading workflow will keep pace with the market.

Layout Export & Import

Today's update also brings with it the ability to share layouts via the dedicated Import & Export functions. Simply head over to 'Layouts' and then select 'Manage Layouts'. Choose the layout you wish to share from your saved list, and click the 'Export' button. This will copy your chosen layout to your clipboard.

To import a layout to your Market Monkey Terminal, click the layout button and then select 'Import Layout'. This will produce the dedicated dialog window, allowing you to paste the exported layout.

Once pasted, click the 'Import' button. A small toasting message will appear in the top-right of your terminal window to indicate the import was successful.

Please note that this is a major structural change to how the Market Monkey Terminal stores your layout preferences. Your current layout will have been preserved and migrated within this new version. If for whichever reason you are experiencing difficulties please open a support ticket over on our discord. 🚀 Refined Chart UI

As part of this layout management update, we decided to de-clutter the chart UI. Rather than each chart widget having its own dedicated configuration options, this has now been unified at the top of the Market Monkey Terminal. As you click between chart widgets, the elements within the UI will update accordingly. This approach ensures that layouts that do not possess a chart widget, remain clean and free from unnecessary distractions.

🚀 New X / Twitter Account

Back last month, the official Market Monkey Terminal X account was created. To kick-start this, we ran a competition in which we asked users to guess the BTC price at New York close on FOMC day. Those who were closest would receive a lifetime subscription to Market Monkey Terminal.

Whilst there was one user who incredibly guessed to the exact dollar value of BTC, our X account was unfortunately suspended as they believed we were impersonating another account…🫠 As a result we were placed in Elon jail. It would seem as if Elon has thrown away the key as we are unable to make contact X resolve this.

We therefore have set up another MMT X/Twitter account. We'd encourage you all to follow to receive the latest Market Monkey Terminal updates, market insight and sneak previews of features.
